Membership News
The tower above marks the main entrance to Mill #1, built in 1885 after a disastrous fire destroyed many of the important buildings on the 60-acre site. The mill engineering firm of Lockwood & Greene was hired to survey the property and design not only new buildings but a better site layout.
The smokestack behind Mill #1 was built about 1899 to serve the new power plant attached to the new Mill #2.

You're especially invited to visit our new Museum — just enter Mill #1 through the tower doors and the Museum is straight ahead. Admission is free (donations accepted).
